Why Your iPhone or iPad Is Saying “This Cable or Accessory Is Not Certified”

Apple’s iPhones and iPads use its own Lightning connector for charging and data transmission. You can purchase third-party cables and accessories, but they must be certified. (MFi) If a cable or accessory wasn’t certified by Apple, you’ll see a warning message when you connect it. Why doesn't my top tray rails sit flush on my ALLDOCK base?

A common cause of the ALLDOCK top tray not sitting flush is a cable obstruction. Here a couple of tips to best manage your cables in the base. 1. If you choose to install your standard 1m cables in the ALLDOCK please ensure your cables are neatly coiled in the base of your ALLDOCK (often best to cable tie) and any loose cables are removed from the ALLDOCK side walls. 2. Does the one hand docking adapters fit in all ALLDOCKS?

ONLY FOR EXISTING ALLDOCK OWNERS The ALLDOCK range of products has undergone significant evolution of design since conception in 2015. Unavoidably, a number of older products are not fully compatible with new innovative accessories. If you purchased either a Medium/Large Classic (Black/White ABS) or Medium/Large Combination Classic Base (Black/White ABS) prior to Sept 2016 it is probable that our One Hand Docking Adapters will not function correctly. Why does the cable head pull from the one hand docking adaptor when removing my device?

To avoid cable head pulling out of your adaptor when removing your device from the dock, ensure the cable is laid and secured within the adapter base channel. See below.
